SF Pr. Glide provides except. pressure reduction. When a bed is profiled, the patented design allows the top surface to retain its optimum properties for effective support of patient, while the base of the mattress separately conforms to the bedframe reducing unwanted patient movement, thereby reducing tissue damage from shear and friction forces.
