Epi-Care free is a wearable epilepsy alarm designed for home use and worn on the wrist like a watch. It detects generalized tonic-clonic seizures by recognizing characteristic movements and wirelessly sends an alarm to a base unit, pager, or mobile phone. The product can be used both day and night and has been clinically tested.
